Library Lofts is a high-end apartment complex mixing old-world charm and modern convenience, right in the heart of Chicago's historic Printer's Row.
Formerly the Brock & Rankin building, Library Lofts is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The majority of the building was constructed between 1883 and 1928 for Chicagos burgeoning printing industry. The exterior of the structure is red brick, and stunning terra cotta detailing. The interior spaces feature exposed concrete and masonry walls. The lobby retains a historic metal stair, an original elevator enclosure, a polychrome mosaic floor of all original hardwood, and countless original books from the turn of the century.
